It turned out to be another great day of golf at the Golf Club of Wentzville where we were off the cart paths on some well-manicured fairways and great tee boxes. As for the greens, let's just say they were the worst we have played on this year. However, I did notice the course has sodded some of them in an attempt to bring them back to life. They did putt much better than they appeared, which led to some really good scores.

All 111 where able to navigate the links without incident and seemed to have some well-played rounds in spite of the aforementioned greens. After all, a two under par won the infamous and dreaded pink balls!! There were three such scores and the score card playoff (scp) hole of #10 played into determining the "lucky" winners of the $8 and decreasing bag of pink balls. Some of you "manly gents" seemed to like these "pinkies" since the supply keeps diminishing each week when they are returned for the next lucky group.
