Once again we played this course that has become a favorite of our group and continues to be a premier course in the area. 106 of us descended on Far Oaks Golf Course in Collinsville, Illinois and enjoy a great day for golf. The physical features of the course were as great as ever with very nice greens and a lot of roll on the fairways. The weather cooperated for us even though an occasional drop of moisture presented itself to remind us of the comfortable cloud coverage. Doug Nolte is visiting Minnesota this week so the rest of the results will be limited to the group scores and individual awards.
Results:
Flight "A"
In First with an amazing minus 14 the team of Jim Mead, Bob Day, Tom Gill, and Ed De la Pena.
In Second at minus 12 the team of Jack Eckhard, Jeff Delaplain, Ron Ruffin, and Bob Stephenson.
In Third with a minus 11 the team of Paul Rivard, George Keil, Jack Reiner, and Ralph Buettner.
The Joe Goines also had a minus 11 but lost out to the Rivard team because of the playoff hole #9.

Flight "B"
In First with a minus 8 the team of Larry Willman, John Boyd, Jim Hawkes, and Alvin Rosenberg.
In Second at a minus 8 but losing to the Willman team in the playoff, the team of Dee Ridenhour, Paul Kinser, Bob Brewer, and Larry Knopfel.
In Third also at a minus 8 also a playoff hole victim the team of Paul Pals, Joe Cernich, Gary Turner, and Dave Kunz.

In First at a minus 6 the team of Bob Gay, Gene Erard, Bruce Schnelle, and John Prather.
In Second with a minus 5 the team of Don Moschenross, Bill Gust, Glenn Morgan, and Dan Ottoline.
In Third with a minus 4 the team of Larry Reidisser, Don Schmidt, Mark Hagler, and Dennis Swift.

In First with a minus 3 the team of Bob Thibodeaux, Bill Clark, Lou Pessoni, and Bob Meinhardt.
In Second with a minus 2 the team of Art Soble, Alan Schaeffer, Bob Haddad, and Paul Scheffer.
In Third with a minus 1 the team of Joe Mullins, Jack Panula, Ted Isringhaus, and Dale Crittenden.
The team working the hardest this day with a score of plus 2 was the Harold Howard team.
