June 19, 2014 Results
The Falls is another course that has been a favorite of our group and continues to be a premier course in the area. 114 of us descended on The Falls Golf Course in O'Fallon, Missouri and enjoy a great day for golf. I will admit that the weather could have been more tolerable if the temperature would have been about 15 degrees cooler. However enough shade and an occasional breeze did help.The physical features of the course were as great as ever with very nice greens and some roll on the fairways. Doug Nolte is visiting Minnesota this week so the results will be limited to the group scores and individual awards. Par today at The Falls was 71 and the playoff hole was #18.
Results:
Flight "A"
In First with a sparkling 12 under par(59) the Riedisser Family Golfers, Charlie, Randy, and Alan. Larry had to cancel and missed the family fun.
Next Second with eight under par(63) the Tom Gill team, with Bob Haddad, Lowell Barnes, and John Dierker.
In Third with seven(64) under par the team of Joe Pfeifer, John Prather, Jim Mead, and Phil Helm.

Flight "B"
Three teams tied with five under par(66) but the playoff hole, #18 placed the teams as follows First the team of Harold Howard, Ron Ruffin, Jack Eckhard, and Glenn Morgan.
In Second went to the team of Max Saunders, Harry Trammel, Frank Vien, and Dan Snowden.
In Third to the team of Ed Boyer, Lee Hanson, Tom Murphy, and Harvey Ruth.

Flight "C"
Once again three teams tied this time three under par(68) but the playoff hole placed them in this order First the team of Bob Foeller, Jerry Mullen, Mark Gordon, and Earl Phillips.
In Second the team of Jeff Delaplain, Jerry White, Lou Pessoni, and Dave Buesse.
In Third the team of Dave Kunz, Lew Rosenbaum, Pat Reed, and Bert Schott.

Flight "D"
And finally once again three teams tied at even par(71) but the playoff hole placed them in this order. In First the team of John Luscuito, Ralph Buettner, Jack Panula, and Dennis Swift.
In Second the team of Bob Edwards, Bob Meinhardt, Bob Stephenson, and Bill Gust.
In Third the team of Russ Wall, Dean Brandon, Don Schmidt, and Bill Howell.
Two teams worked the hardest today with a five over par(76) but the playoff hole caused the Gary Turner team to beat the Lon Schwake for this coveted award.
