102 golfers converged on Aberdeen GC on what turned out to be a wonderful day in terms of weather. The course was in fine shape although putting on wet, scruffy greens early in the morning proved to be frustrating for some of us. Later on in the day putting on dry, scruffy greens proved to be frustrating for some of us. For our team it was frustrating anyway. We must've misputted on at least 20 greens inside of 10-12 feet - unbelievable. How can 4 adults have such a lousy day of putting when we were consistently in such great position? Oh well, it's about as predictable as using a computer.

I've got to cut this report a bit short because I've got some things working. My house is being painted right now (outside) and I have to make sure these guys don't do something untoward like painting over my windows. Then I've got a doctor's appointment at 1130 this AM so I've got to prepare for that, and on top of all that I didn't get much sleep last night because right at midnight I had a double charley horse attack, one for each leg at the same time. This was not your common charley horse in the calf type of attack, but higher up in each leg, ie. the hamstrings, which just got as tight as a stone. You don't EVER want to get charley horses in the hamstrings. Those of you unfortunate enough to witness them know of what I speak. It's akin to a kidney stone pain. And I've survived two of those so I'm allowed to compare the pain. Anyway I've fully recovered from those, but the visit to the doctor is related to that issue and has to do with the use of a statin drug which I've been taking for some time. Those things have all kinds of side effects, one of which being muscle issues.

Enough of my medical issues and I'm sure for many of you your horror stories dwarf my present problems.
